Milutin Djuraskovic

Milutin Djuraskovic is a PhD Candidate in International Relations and Conflict Studies at the University of Antwerp and Utrecht University, and Project Officer for the Realities of Algorithmic Warfare program. His research interrogates how algorithmic technologies are developed and deployed in Gaza and Ukraine by a network of actors, including data scientists, military startups, and tech firms, and examines how this large-scale use is reshaping the nature of warfare and producing new forms of violence and civilian harm.
He holds a BA in Business Administration from La Sagesse University in Lebanon, a Bachelor in Social Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University, and a Master’s in Science of Conflict and Development Studies from Ghent University.
Prior to joining RAW, Milutin worked as a Junior Researcher at the Middle East and North Africa Research Group (MENARG) at Ghent University, and as a Researcher and Project Lead at the Studies in Media, Innovation and Technology (SMIT) research group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
